David Koppel has over thirty years of experience in the avionics communications field. He first began using MIL-STD 1553 at Sperry Corporation in the MATE (Modular Automated Test Equipment) program under contract to the United States Air Force. He subsequently worked at AIS providing PC based test systems for a number of Military Aircraft.
Since 1990 David has been working at Excalibur Systems where he is presently CEO/CTO in charge of all new research and development. He has prepared courses in MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429 and ARINC-664 P7 / AFDX which he has delivered all over the world.
