New ARINC-429 module in development

We are currently developing a new ARINC-429 module which will have the following new features:

1)            More memory – at least twice as much and potentially more

2)            Transmit FIFO which will cause an entire message to be read by the module in several microseconds and stored in the FIFO. This will limit the possibility of data integrity problems.

3)            A much more accurate frequency mode, accurate to within a few microseconds instead of the current millisecond.

4)            Hardware based timetag replacing the current firmware based timetag

5)            SKIP capability in frequency mode

6)            Very low latency (~20 microseconds) in translation mode.
